Job Title: Senior CAS Accountant

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior CAS Accountant to join our Client Advisory Services team. This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who thrives on execution, values trusted client relationships, and is ready to step beyond narrow responsibilities. You’ll lead day-to-day accounting operations for multiple clients while playing a strategic role in refining internal systems and mentoring junior staff.
This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who brings critical thinking, hands-on expertise, and a passion for helping clients strengthen their financial operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review the monthly and annual close processes for multiple clients
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements
- Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting
- Track budgets, analyze variances, and support strategic decision-making
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, financial models, and assist with financial planning
- Handle compliance filings including 1099 and sales and use tax
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Collaborate with clients to understand business goals and provide tailored financial guidance
- Participate in client meetings to review financial results and KPIs
- Review and oversee work completed by junior accounting staff
- Train, mentor, and support the growth of junior team members
- Assist in onboarding new clients and setting up accounting systems and processes
- Identify opportunities to improve internal workflows and client operations
- Maintain clean, compliant ledgers and support external audits as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in accounting services
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting platforms such as QBO, Xero, Intacct
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- High degree of integrity, professionalism, and discretion with confidential information
Compensation dependent on experience $80-$105k
